Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate Church and community collaboration for clinics. ​ Unity is a key value of Compassion Connect and is represented in Compassion Clinics through multiple churches serving together to host a clinic. The Compassion Clinic Director assures this value is upheld.
● Share the vision and mission of Compassion Connect with pastors, church leaders, congregations, and others in the community
● Cultivate relationships and foster collaboration with Christian churches and ministries including interdenominational and multi-ethnic partnerships
● Inspire groups of churches who want to lead Compassion Clinics with a vision of local ownership, where you assist and coach along the way
● Regularly check in with each community to keep in touch with their collaboration health and overall health of their clinic event
● Create tools, systems, and frameworks to best equip churches to collaboratively lead their clinic event
● In addition to churches, develop and maintain relationships with relevant local businesses, social service groups, and community organizations

Manage Staff & Volunteers. The Compassion Clinic Director oversees a small team of key volunteers and staff, and supports thousands of volunteers annually.
● Oversee staff in the clinic department
● Connect with, oversee, and develop key volunteer leaders ● Participate in and lead regular project-focused meetings
● Create and implement encouragement and development strategies for volunteers including gifts, awards, events and more
● Ensure volunteers are healthy, multiplying, and maintaining high integrity

Manage Clinic Operations. The smooth operating of clinics is essential in providing clinics with excellence.
● Manage Portland area clinic department budget
● Coordinate and oversee all clinic equipment, supplies, forms, etc
● Assist in donor development including building corporate and business sponsorships, helping with fundraising events, and seeking gifts-in-kind
● Compile program statistics and provide data reports and stories as needed
● Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of and participation in the model ensuring the organizational values are expressed in quality and quantity
● Build a robust database of health care professionals
● Work closely with the Communications Director and Portland Regional Director in creating a communications and media strategy for the region

Required Skills and Experience:

● Able to affirm and advance the Compassion Connect core values with integrity
● Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills in front of groups of different sizes
● Experience leading multi-generational and multi-ethnic teams
● Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
● Ability to develop, organize, and implement complex projects as a self-starter
● Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive
● Willing to learn and use CRM Database to track volunteers and organizations
● Comfortable leading meetings of 5-20 individuals
● Passion for God, which is exhibited in clear obedience to His Spirit and Word and constant pursual a deeper relationship with Jesus

Preferred Skills and Experience:

● Advanced degree in related field and/or demonstrated real life experience in business, ministry, or nonprofit management
● Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
● Experience leading a team of staff-level volunteers
● Ability and willingness to pray with pastors, volunteer teams, and others
● Experience working in public health, social services, or a related field a plus
● Passion for local church unity

Additional Requirements & Information:

● Use of a personal vehicle with a valid driver's license
● Ability to maintain a professional appearance
● Willingness to travel regionally up to 10%
● Requires some Saturdays and evenings
● Job includes participation in the Compassion Connect Executive Team, which helps lead and make decisions for the overall organization
