Associate Pastor Intern

This position provides pastoral ministry experience for a man considering and training for full time pastoral ministry. Dependent upon gifting, passions and experience, the intern will provide pastoral leadership in some of our primary ministry areas (e.g., youth, worship, Christian education, discipleship, small groups, men's ministries, fellowship, outreach and enfolding, etc.), will serve in other ministries based upon church needs and may have occasional opportunities to speak during the service.
The associate pastor intern will work directly with Pastor Dan Gannon who will provide oversight for the internship and opportunities for widening ministry experience and practical training. The person in this position must be able to exercise skill in software programs (especially Word and Powerpoint) to add to the efficiency and effectiveness of the ministry. They must be able to keep ministry information confi-dential and exercise personal loyalty to the Pastor, each member of the Board of Elders and Ministry Leaders. They must attend RBC services and adhere to RBC Support Staff Qualifications and constitution (http://www.rentonbiblechurch.org/Constitution).
