Internship

Fremont Presbyterian Church is seeking an intern to lead our newly created 5th/6th grade program under the direction of the Minister to Children and Families. This is a year-long paid internship position of 10-15 hours per week designed to develop ministry and leadership skills. The intern will develop and lead Sunday morning and Wednesday night programs to disciple pre-teens and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Primary Intern Responsibilities:
• Working with the Minister to Children and Families, develop and lead Sunday morning and Wednesday evening programs designed to help 5th and 6th grade students build their relationship with Christ and with each other.
• Lead 5th and 6th grade students in additional ministry programs to include Vacation Bible School and All-Church Conference.
• Engage in professional development including Bible Study and reading in the areas of leadership and pre-teen ministry.
• Coordinate with other Mix56 volunteers.

• A passion for helping youth discover a personal relationship with Jesus.
• A solid foundation of Biblical knowledge.
• Experience working with children and/or youth.
• Character and integrity to serve as a positive role model for youth.
