Position Overview:
The office manager is the point of contact for congregation members, vendors and our neighborhood. The primary role is to provide support to the Pastor and to ensure a smooth operation so the Gateway Church body is equipped to do the work of the ministry.

Hours:
Monday-Thursday 9:00am-4:00pm (but can be flexible)

Responsibilities:
Overseeing daily operations of the church office
Assisting the Pastor and staff with administrative tasks as needed
Facilitating communication between the Pastor, staff, and congregation members
Managing correspondence, emails, and phone calls
Maintaining office supplies and equipment
Managing the church calendar and building use requests
Coordinating facility usage for events, meetings, and rentals
Managing contracts with service providers (e.g., phone, copy machine, etc.)
Managing office budget, expenses, and financial records
Serving as a point of contact for members, visitors, and vendors
Coordinating with other staff members and volunteer teams for events, programs, and projects
Handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

Qualifications:

The ability to maintain confidentiality and display good judgement
A willingness to learn and adapt
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
