Baywood Park Community Church Music Director

Baywood Park Community Church (BPCC) seeks a diligent, outgoing, enthusiastic, mature male believer to both direct and help us develop the musical aspects of our worship. BPCC is a small, multi-generational church in Los Osos serious about bringing all aspects of our private and corporate lives under the dominion of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The primary responsibilities of this position will be to:

Work closely with the pastor in planning the music for weekly worship services as well as other church events.

Research, evaluate and select music that is theologically sound, consistent with the vision of the elder board, and advances and enhances the service.

Organize and lead the music team.

Lead the congregation in corporate signing during the service.

Vet and coordinate special music to be played during the service or other church events.

The successful candidate will:

Be able to execute the aforementioned duties with gracious humility

Be a mature believer in agreement with the Baywood Park Community Church Statement of Faith and become a member of BPCC with his (if applicable) family

Be willing to submit to the leadership of the elder board

Be called to this position as both work and more importantly, as serving the Lord Jesus Christ and His church.
