Worship and Creative Director

The Worship and Creative Director provides leadership & creative direction for corporate worship gatherings, liturgical seasons, and the worship rhythms of Greater Portland Bible Church. This person will work alongside the Communications Director and Media Director to ensure creative continuity church-wide. This role will support the vision and direction of all worship gatherings as established by and in cooperation with the Lead Pastor.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Direct Sunday worship gatherings and other corporate worship gatherings
• Write liturgy and plan creative direction and themes for liturgical seasons
• Shepherd/Disciple the Worship Team Members and meet with ministry-specific key leaders & volunteers
• Schedule bands, tech teams, etc. for Sunday Worship (staff volunteers as needed)
• Create and prepare production elements for Sunday Worship (sound, tech, stage, etc.)
• Attend weekly staff meetings & events (as schedule allows)
