Christian Veterinary Mission is a Christ-centered organization whose purpose is to walk alongside Christians in the veterinary community with the desire to bring glory to God using their professional skills, whether serving in their own community or cross-culturally.
Animals are a bridge to relationships. Whether at a clinic in urban America, a veterinary school in Bolivia, the countryside of Mongolia or serving the Cherokee Nation, relationships are formed over the care of an animal. Trust is built, hearts are opened, and the gospel can be shared. Find out more about us at CVM.org.
The Missions Mobilization Assistant will work collaboratively within CVM’s Missions Department to recruit, equip, and support the administrative needs of those going across cultures and around the world to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
In conjunction with the Short-Term Missions team, you will gather and enter trip data to support the needs of hundreds of short-term volunteers per year. You will work with the Assistant Director of Missions to help implement the long-term missions mobilization program through marketing, training assistance, mailing list support, and managing applications for new long-term missionaries. This position is identified as a CVM Ministry Leader. Applicants should have a desire to engage in the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20) by supporting, mentoring, training, and praying for those who go through CVM.
This position is available for remote workers eligible to work in and currently residing in the continental United States. For those residing in the Seattle, Washington area, the duty station would be the CVM headquarters office located in Lynnwood (North of Seattle). Occasional travel to CVM conferences, meetings, or mission locations will be expected. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Missions. CVM intends to use information from a third-party background check to make employment decisions. The candidate offered conditional employment must complete a background check.
The salary range for this position starts at $46,200/year. Additionally, Christian Veterinary Mission offers full benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off, and participation in a 403b retirement plan.
What we want you to do in this position:
1. Collaborate with the Short-Term Missions team to provide administrative support to mission volunteers.
2. Collaborate with the Long-Term Missions team to provide mobilization support to mission applicants.
3. Provide administrative support to long-term mission candidates.
4. Connect with sending churches and other mission stakeholders.
5. Support the overall ministry of CVM.
For the complete job announcement or to express interest in applying, please send a resume and cover letter to Dr. Daniel Graham, Assistant Director of Missions: dgraham@cvm.org.
This position will remain open until filled.
