The Big Picture
First Congregational (http://www.congregationalashland.org) is searching for a full-time Pastor.
The Church
We are a very small congregation, averaging around 25 in attendance weekly, but have seen some recent growth and hope to see that continue as we continue to expand our outreach efforts.
The Candidate
Our Congregational church seeks a full time Pastor, with two days of weekly rest, and two weeks of compensated vacation yearly to serve Sundays, and call weekly upon the homebound and hospitalized. It is important for our new Pastor to embrace the tenets of Congregationalism in providing for the spiritual well-being of our congregation.
The Compensation
We have a solid financial foundation, but due to our size are rather limited in terms of what we can currently offer a new Pastor. The trustees have authorized $30,000 annually and residence in the parsonage with utilities paid (electric, gas, water, sewage and refuse removal, and internet) with a local value of $30,000 annually for a total of $60,000.
