Campus Pastor

North Coast Church is searching for a Campus Pastor for their Carlsbad, California Campus. This Pastor will be responsible for providing spiritual direction and pastoral care to the Carlsbad staff and congregation, as well as overseeing operations. Reporting directly to the Executive Pastor/CFO, the leader in this role will experience freedom and trust to build a vibrant community with the support of a robust team ready to help each Campus succeed.

North Coast is a grace-filled church where ministry is also fun! Each campus is intentional about knowing God and growing spiritually through practical Bible teaching, contemporary worship, and opportunities for significant and supportive relationships

THE CHURCH

North Coast Church began as a Bible study in 1976 in a Carlsbad home, and has grown to over 15,000. Their growth can be attributed to a commitment to small groups. Since 1985, attendance in small groups has equaled 80-94% of weekend adult attendance.

North Coast is a Bible-teaching church that offers different worship styles and ambiance in each location within a highly relational, family-like atmosphere.

THE POSITION

Carlsbad Campus Pastor will work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities
- Pursue ongoing personal, spiritual, and professional development
-Shepherd and equip congregation and staff
-Enrich the spiritual growth of pastoral and member care teams
-Build a vibrant and welcoming community
-Recruit, train, and empower volunteers to serve
-Engage with local and global communities for outreach and evangelism
-Partner with the worship ministry to provide an meaningful worship experience
-Oversee administrative tasks related to the campus
-Work collaboratively with other campus pastors, the global support ministries, and church leadership teams to coordinate ministry efforts, share resources, and support the overall mission and vision of North Coast Church
