Job Description: Morro Bay Campus Pastor

Position Overview:
Coastlands Church is seeking a relational and dynamic Campus Pastor to lead and launch our Morro Bay campus, which will initially serve as a campus plant and develop into a video venue. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building relationships, equipping teams, and engaging actively in the community. While teaching will be part of the role, it is not the primary responsibility. A background in leading worship is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
• Relational Leadership: Build genuine relationships with the church family and the local community, fostering a culture of connection and belonging.
• Team Development: Recruit, equip, and empower volunteer teams to serve in various ministry areas, including worship, hospitality, and outreach.
• Community Engagement: Be a visible and active presence in the Morro Bay community, representing Coastlands with authenticity and care.
• Worship Leadership (Preferred): Lead or oversee the worship experience, ensuring it aligns with the vision and culture of Coastlands.
• Teaching and Communication: Preach and teach occasionally as needed, supporting the overall spiritual growth of the campus.
• Vision Alignment: Work closely with the central leadership of Coastlands to implement the vision and values of the church at the campus level.
• Administrative Oversight: Provide leadership in the logistical and operational needs of the campus.

Qualifications:
• A vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Proven experience in relational leadership, team-building, and community engagement.
• Ability to lead worship or strong familiarity with worship ministry (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A heart for discipleship and a passion for reaching people in Morro Bay with the Gospel.
• Alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Coastlands Church.
