JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Family Ministry Team Leader
Reports To: Teams Coach
Works With: Community Minister & Other Team Leaders
Pay Status: Hourly
Exemption Status: Non-Exempt / Part-time
General Summary and Objective: This is a team lead position for the Family Ministry Team
Leader. This person will oversee the planning and execution of all Kids Ministry-related
activities so that they are age-appropriate and effective, as well as shape the culture of
Generations to
1) build effective relationships within the church community, and
2) multiply disciples, leaders, groups, ministries, and ultimately more churches.
Essential Functions: The KidsMin Director is responsible for…
• Communicating with the Teams Coach & Lead Pastor.
• Initially leading the Kids' Ministry Team to develop sustainable ministry investment in
the next generation.
• Overseeing the recruitment, scheduling, and leadership of necessary team positions
(as needed) to facilitate Sunday Gatherings
• Expand the ministry to support families (parents & kids) in everyday faith going
beyond Sundays.
• Attending Team Leader Meetings.
Requirements:
• Fully committed follower of Christ.
• Champion of vision, values, and culture of Generations Church.
• Be a self-starter.
• Ability to work in harmony with other team members.
• Exceptional model of personal integrity.
• Ability to convey a positive professional image and to maintain confidentiality.
• Demonstrated capacity in next-generation ministry.
• Complying with Generations and State Insurance safety policies.
Work Environment
This job operates in a church plant environment with mobile office and flexible work hours.
This role routinely requires use of a computer and applications such as Subspalsh, Google
Drive, and other applications.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The
employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands
and arms.
Travel
This position requires minimal travel.
