Associate Pastor

Pleasant Hill Baptist Church is seeking a full-time associate pastor to work alongside our current pastor in serving and caring for the congregation, facilitating ministry activities, and discipling individuals in their relationship with Christ. He will have the opportunity to use his gifting across a broad range of church life as opportunity and occasion allow.

Qualifications
- A follower of Christ, born again and diligently seeking after Jesus
- Models a walk with Christ through ministry leadership and weekday living
- Has an ability to facilitate group events connected with church ministry
- Must be willing to abide by church covenant & doctrinal statements within church constitution.
- Seminary education preferred
- Ability to lead worship would be helpful

Essential Responsibilities
- To reach and connect with multi-generational adults and families with the primary purpose of helping them grow in Christ-likeness.
- Support the Lead Pastor in planning and implementing vision and ministry.
- Give oversight and leadership to all areas of adult discipleship
- Prepare strategies that provide pathways for connecting people with small groups and small group multiplication.
- Work with Children’s and Student Leadership to maintain and grow a vertically aligned strategy of discipleship.
- Maintain a disciplined life of worship, Bible reading, prayer, and hospitality.

Compensation
Salary: $50-$60k, TBD based on experience.
