Chinese Adult Ministry Intern/ English Youth Ministry Intern/ English Children Ministry Intern

Lake East Christian Church (LECC) is located in Kirkland, Washington, and has faithfully served the Greater Seattle area for over 30 years. We are a bilingual congregation with three active ministry arms:
• Chinese Ministry (Mandarin-speaking adults)
• Youth Ministry (English-speaking middle and high school students)
• Children’s Ministry (primarily English-speaking)
We are honored to offer a wide range of ministry opportunities, available both in-person and online, that allow student interns to choose their fieldwork focus based on academic program requirements, spiritual gifting, and personal calling. LECC is willing to cooperate as an internship site for Western Seminary. Below are opportunities opening include:

Adult Ministry
• Preaching (in Mandarin Chinese or English)
• Leading small groups and discipleship training
• Teaching Bible classes
• Participating in multicultural outreach and evangelism
• Assisting in church administration
• Serving in local and cross-cultural missions
• Designing and editing curriculum for Sunday School

Youth Ministry
• Providing youth pastoral care or mental health support
• Teaching or co-teaching youth Sunday School
• Leading youth discipleship groups
• Assisting in worship services (music, Scripture reading, prayer)
• Editing and developing youth Bible education curriculum

Children’s Ministry
• Teaching or assisting in children’s Sunday School
• Leading Bible-based activities
• Developing and editing children’s curriculum
• Media production for children's ministry (lesson videos, worship materials)
• Partnering with parents and volunteers in nurturing faith formation

Our church’s lead pastor meets the mentoring qualifications outlined in field education programs and is willing to serve as a supervisor to the interns. We will provide internship stipends based on the specific role and time commitment. For details, please feel free to contact us.
