Lead Pastor

North Coast Family Fellowship (NCFF) in Seaside, Oregon is a loving church with a true sense of calling to impact the scenic North Coast of Oregon for Christ. We seek a Lead Pastor with the heart and vision to build on the solid foundation that has been laid to reach one of the most unchurched regions in America.

Our surrounding population is highly aware of NCFF’s presence and carries a positive perspective on the contributions of NCFF to the community. The church with about 350-450 attending each weekend has many who have a sincere desire to come under the teaching of God’s Word, to love one another and to reach the area with the Gospel. There is a tangible and humble sense within the church family that Jesus has His hand on NCFF to be effectively used by His grace and for His glory.

Our current Lead Pastor has served NCFF for 20+ years, teaching the Word well and leading a dedicated staff as the church has consistently grown over the years. That staff includes five fulltime individuals: the Lead Pastor, Worship Arts Pastor, Youth Pastor, Children’s Director, and Facilities Director. We also have a part-time Counseling Pastor as well as other part-time support staff. NCFF has a growing Youth ministry, a thriving Children’s Ministry, a growing preschool, and is starting a Christian school in the fall of 2025. When the Lord brings our next Lead Pastor, our current pastor will transition out of his role, and will leave a financially healthy church that is serious about knowing the Word, focused on seeing unbelievers come to faith in Christ, and intent on helping believers become more faithful to Christ. Morale and unity within the church family is high, and the people are engaged and excited over what the Lord is doing and will do.

NCFF is committed to caring and providing well for the well-being of its pastors who are called to serve this body of Christ followers. This position is compensated with a generous base salary and benefits package that includes medical, vision, and dental for the entire family. Disability insurance and life insurance, as well as a generous time-off package, are also included.

What is Seaside, Oregon like? This small and friendly town just 75 minutes from the Portland area is one of the most popular vacation destinations on the famous scenic Oregon coast. Here you can walk wide ocean beaches, hike dozens of trails, catch King Salmon in the Pacific Ocean or on the Columbia River. You can also hang out with 40,000 friends at the world-renowned Seaside Sand Volleyball tournament, catch a dinner or play at a local venue, or hear a powerful speaker at the nearby Cannon Beach Conference Center. Again, anything else you may need is available in the Portland area. Yes, you’ll want a raincoat from time-to-time to deal with the everchanging weather, but that is a small price to enjoy life where other people come to vacation.
