Palau is looking for a full-time Associate Festival Director to work in various cities across the United States. Palau does ministry across the globe with a focus of Proclaiming the Good News, Uniting the Church and Activating Believers Worldwide.

Summary

As part of the Festival Department the Associate Festival Director will work under of the Festival Director and City Impact Team Director to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with local churches and Christian business persons for an area-wide movement-based campaign to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through prayer, service, and evangelism efforts.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Festival Director to identify key community members to take leadership roles in the Festival Executive Committee.
Assist in the hiring and management of Festival Staff.
Maintain regular contact with designated churches to promote upcoming Festival-related events and determine the level of participation of each church. (Events with Andrew Palau, church launch presentations, festival friend trainings, publicity, team participation, etc.)
Craft and oversee the implementation of the promotional plan for the festival.
Speak in local churches and community meetings when requested.
Assist in the solicitation of funds from local churches, businesses, individuals and sponsors.
Review festival budget status monthly.
Lead one or more festival teams and work closely with a chair to recruit members of committee(s) as assigned by the Festival Director (this could be CityServe, Family Fun Zone, Action Sports, Counseling, Follow-up, Prayer, etc.).
Requirements/Qualifications and Skills

Personal relationship and faith in Jesus Christ and be in agreement with Palau’s Statement of Faith
Strong interpersonal/human relation skills
Strong verbal and professional written communication skills
Marketing and presentation skills
Project management skills
Ability to travel one to two times a month or move to a city for 12 to 18 months.
Ability to interact with diplomacy and tact amid influential leaders and diverse groups
Ability to maintain relationships with significant and influential, individuals
Ability to solicit donations
Ability to develop creative partnerships when and where needed
Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adapt to various situations
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
Ability to be a team player
A vision to see the broader church unified
Nonprofit experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook
Bachelors Degree in related field required
Attend Weekly online staff chapels
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
