High School Pastor

Peninsula Bible Church Cupertino

10601 N. Blaney Ave., Cupertino, CA 95014 USA   MAP
Demographic: Urban (Silicon Valley area)
Statement Of Faith: Peninsula Bible Church Cupertino (PBCC) is an elder-led, non-denominational church located in Silicon Valley. As our
name suggests, we are deeply committed to the study and teaching of the Bible “… to equip the saints for the work of
ministry” (Ephesians 4:12) – believing this is essential to making disciples of Jesus and drawing others to faith in Him.
Our church family reflects the rich ethnic diversity of the South Bay, and we seek to be a Christ-centered community
where people of all ages and backgrounds can belong, grow and serve together. “And they devoted themselves to the
apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” (Acts 2:42)

Shepherd the high school ministry with volunteers focusing on leading and helping the spiritual development of high
school students. This includes building relationships, planning events, providing pastoral care, equipping and training
students and volunteers, all while reflecting PBCC’s statement of faith and family values (see above).
As part of the pastoral team, the High School Pastor will actively contribute to and support PBCC’s broader vision,
working closely with pastors and elders in a spirit of co-laboring to prepare the church family for ministry and formation.
The pastor must be able to function well as “one among others” in leadership style. Since PBCC has no senior pastor, the
candidate must possess an unwavering commitment to teamwork, self-management, and self-motivation. These
qualities must be exercised both in accountability to the elders and in close partnership with the pastoral team,
demonstrating servant leadership, edifying communication, mutual respect, commitment, and support as co-laborers in
the shared ministry God has given at PBCC.
