Position Overview
Connect Church is seeking a Spirit-led, mission-minded, spiritually and emotionally healthy Associate Pastor with a passion for evangelism, a deep value for prayer, and a heart for reaching across cultures and generations with the love of Christ. This person will play a pivotal role in developing and leading new ministries from the ground up, equipping teams, and helping our church live out the Great Commission, Great Commandments, and the New Commandments in practical and impactful ways.

Key Responsibilities
Champion evangelism within and beyond the church walls.
Develop and lead outreach ministries that reflect a missional, cross-cultural, and intergenerational vision.
Build and empower teams of Christ followers to pioneer new ministry initiatives.
Provide pastoral care and spiritual leadership alongside the Lead Pastor.
Cultivate a culture of prayer throughout the church body.
Preach and teach as needed, with a heart to connect the gospel to everyday life.
Identify and disciple emerging leaders.
Collaborate with staff and ministry teams to align vision and strategy.

Qualifications
A growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.
Exemplify the characteristics outlined for an Elder in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.
Demonstrated passion for evangelism and missions.
Experience or strong gifting in pioneering new ministries.
Comfortable engaging across cultural and ethnic boundaries.
Committed to the power and priority of prayer in ministry.
A lifelong learner with a teachable spirit.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ministry-related degree or theological training (preferred).

We believe that those who are called to full time ministry should be treated with respect and honor. We strive to offer competitive salaries and benefits to the best of our ability. We currently model our salary after comparable compensation in the education field.
