Overview of Cedar Falls Baptist Church

Located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, we are a medium-sized church with an average worship attendance of around 240 and Sunday School attendance ranging between 115 to 140. Our current membership averages age 65+, but our church body is trying new programs to reach out to the younger members of our community. At our May 2025 business meeting, the church body approved starting a Trail Life troop as a ministry for the young boys and girls in our area. We are open to trying something new if it helps reach the lost.

Our deacons’ primary responsibility is to minister to the members of our church; not run the church. Most of the church business is handled at the committee level, so our new senior pastor needs to be able to lead by encouraging and shepherding people to share in a common, God-given vision for the church.

Cedar Falls Baptist Church has several life groups such as Iron-Sharpens-Iron (a golf group) to name one that draws people not only from within the church but from without. Our Baptist Men, GriefShare, and DivorceCare draw many people from our community who aren’t otherwise associated with our church. We have tried small groups with mixed results, but are open to fresh ideas.

We believe Cedar Falls Baptist Church has the facilities and motivated members to grow explosively with God’s guidance and the right leadership. Time will tell.
