Located in NE Portland, All Souls is a small church of under 100, committed to liturgical worship in the Anglican tradition, which seeks to welcome young families by offering childcare during our Sunday Liturgy.
We are seeking a childcare provider for children under the age of three. This person will ensure the safety and well-being of the children in the nursery, working with one church volunteer each week.
* Schedule: Sundays, 3:45-5:45 pm (mid-Sept through mid-June).
* Compensation: $30 per hour
* Location: 6700 NE 29th Ave., Portland, OR 97211
* Responsibilities: maintain a safe and nurturing environment by adhering to the church’s child safety policy, contact parents in difficult situations, provide spiritual instruction (when appropriate)
* Qualifications: 18 or older, a church-attending Christian, experience in children's ministry (particularly with preschool), strong leadership and interpersonal skills, commitment to child safety and well-being
