Dublin Baptist Chinese Church Seeks Next Generation Director/Minister
Dublin Baptist Chinese Church (DBCC) in Dublin, Ohio, is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to serve as our Next Generation Director/Minister. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the spiritual lives of our children and youth within a vibrant and growing church community. This position can be structured as either full-time or part-time with the potential to transition to full-time.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive ministry strategy for children and youth (Next Generation).
Create engaging and age-appropriate programs that foster spiritual growth and discipleship.
Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer leaders including youth leaders.
Provide teaching and counseling to youth and children.
Communicate effectively with parents and families.
Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
Lead youth short-term mission trips in the US and overseas.
Qualifications:
Must affirm and align with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 of the Southern Baptist Convention (https://bfm.sbc.net/bfm2000).
A bachelor’s or master’s degree of next generation ministry or theology from an evangelical seminary (or equivalent theological training) or currently pursuing such a degree.
A clear calling and commitment to next generation ministry.
Gifts for teaching and youth/children counseling.
A passion for youth and children's discipleship and care.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in next generation ministry.
Understanding of Asian culture is preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English.
