GCC Mandarin Pastor Qualifications and Job Descriptions

Mandarin Pastor Qualifications
1) Received God’s calling, sound doctrine, no charismatic background, and agree with GCC’s constitution and by-laws.
2) Characters and testimony indicated in 1 Tim. 3:1-7.
3) M. Div. degree or above from accredited seminary.
4) Preaching in Mandarin and able to use English to communicate in meeting.
5) At least two-year pastoral or leading church ministry experience.
6) Married, working experience in US, and permanent residence status preferred.

Mandarin Pastor Job Descriptions
1) Shepherd the congregation according to 1 Pet. 5:1-4.
2) Provide the vision and growth strategy for Mandarin congregation according to God’s will.
3) Coordinate with Youth Pastor.
4) Preaching and lead teaching as well as discipleship according to biblical truth.
5) Provide care and consultation to the congregation
