**Job Title: Connections Pastor (Contract)**

Are you passionate about fostering connections within a faith community? Grace Community Church is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Connections Pastor to join our mission of building a supportive and vibrant church family. In this contract role, you will play a pivotal part in nurturing relationships, facilitating engagement, and promoting spiritual growth among our congregation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance church member engagement and connection.
- Create and oversee programs that foster community involvement and spiritual growth.
- Facilitate small groups, classes, and events that promote fellowship and discipleship.
- Work collaboratively with church leadership to identify and address the needs of the congregation.
- Provide pastoral care and support to members, including counseling and guidance as needed.
- Coordinate outreach initiatives to welcome new members and integrate them into the church community.
- Cultivate relationships with community organizations to strengthen partnerships and outreach efforts.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- A strong commitment to the mission and vision of Grace Community Church.
- Proven experience in pastoral care, community engagement, or church leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse groups.
- Strong organizational and event planning skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- A deep understanding of biblical teachings and a passion for spiritual growth.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience in counseling or conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with digital tools and social media for community engagement.
- Training or certification in ministry or a related field.
