Kitchen Manager

Lakeside Bible Camp, a conservative evangelical Bible camp in the Pacific Northwest, is searching for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join it’s permanent staff. It is a full-time position with full benefits including housing, retirement, medical, dental, etc. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for the operation of the dining hall throughout the entire year, leaning on some of the 600 volunteers that come to Lakeside to serve. They are also in charge of the rental groups and rental activities throughout the non-summer season.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• At least 3 years in some sort of large cooking environment (camp, group homes, facility work).
• Supervision, development, and recruitment of volunteers to help in the operation of the kitchen.
• Good communication skills.
• Very Organized.
• Knows the health department requirements of a large kitchen operation.
• Good at follow through with rental type contracts.

This position is available for immediate hire for the right person. They will be trained for two months or so by our current Kitchen Manager who will be exiting her position no later than June 30th.
