Executive Director

Lakeside Bible Camp, located on beautiful Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest, has begun its search for its next Executive Director. Our current XD is retiring due to health issues, he’s been the XD for the past 7 years. LBC is a conservative evangelical camp that focuses on the gospel to families, students, and children. It’s capacity is around 120 not counting volunteers and cabin leaders and operates pretty much year round with program retreats, rentals, and of course, a full slate of summer camp weeks.
Some of the preferences for this job would include:
• 5-10 years of Christian Camping Experience or Pastoral Ministry.
• A theological degree is preferred but not required.
• Great Communication Skills.
• Management experience with finances, facility, personnel, and operations.
• Decisive Decision Maker.
• Experience in Ministry Development (fundraising, speaking at conferences and potential ministry partner churches, etc.).
• Ability to work with volunteer leaders and the Board of Directors.
