Children’s Ministry Pastor or Teacher in charge

Oregon Eden Presbyterian Church is a PCA church located in Beaverton, Portland, Oregon.
We are a faith community where first-generation Korean immigrants and
English-speaking second-generation members worship together.

We are seeking a dedicated pastor to guide the next generation in our Children’s Ministry(CM)
Our CM currently serves approximately 30 children from grades 1-5.
(Applicants may apply for either full-time or part-time positions depending on the role)

Full-Time Ministry
1) Responsibilities
- Education Director: Overall planning and management of the education department, teacher training etc.
- Ministry: Sunday worship, Wed. AWANA, VBS, Harvest Party, Christmas program, and other major events
- English-speaking Young Adult Small Group: Lead small groups for English-speaking adults in their 20s and 30s
- Participate in whole-church ministry and collaborate across departments

2) Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $52,000 - $61,000 (includes base salary, housing allowance, health insurance, and matching retirement plan)
- Paid vacation: 2 weeks (2 Sundays)
- Relocation assistance (depending on distance)
- Conference/seminar attendance support (once per year)

Part-Time Ministry

1) Responsibilities
- Children’s Ministry: Sunday worship, Wed. AWANA, VBS, Harvest Party, Christmas program, and other major events

2) Compensation and Benefits - Salary: $24,000 - $28,000

Qualifications

- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Current seminary student or graduate with a Reformed theology background
- Language: Ability to preach and communicate in English

- Two children’s sermons in English (grades 1-5, submit video links)
- Personal statement (include family introduction, ministry calling, statement of faith, and brief ministry plan)
- Essay on the Kingdom of God and the Church (1 page maximum)
- Two letters of recommendation
