| Statement Of Faith: | We believe in: The Holy Scriptures, as originally given by God, are divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, and without error in the original manuscripts, the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. One God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit Our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily Resurrection, His ascension, and His mediatorial work. The Return of Christ that is imminent, bodily, and personal, first for His Church and subsequently as the King who carries out God’s judgments and establishes His Kingdom. The Salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by grace alone, through faith alone, apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ. The Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ. Two Ordinances for the Church that Christ commanded believers to take part in are believers’ baptism, by the mode of immersion (unless unable), and the Lord’s Supper. The Resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the Resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the Resurrection of damnation. |

The Arnold First Baptist Church is prayerfully inviting qualified candidates to apply for the full-time position of pastor for our 137-year-old historic congregation in Central Nebraska.
This role offers the chance to shepherd an independent congregation in a small but economically viable town. We are seeking an individual who is called to ministry and prepared to employ an expository teaching style and to equip our congregation. We are open to considering a range of experience levels and ages. At this time, we are still determining the salary we will offer. Our salary package number is based on our current pastor, who is retiring after 24 years. However, while Central Nebraska offers a relatively low cost of living, we are realistic enough to know that we must be flexible given the needs of our next pastor.
Applications will be reviewed by a pulpit committee, which, after sufficient consideration, will recommend one candidate at a time to the congregation until a pastor is selected. A church profile and a copy of our constitution have been provided for your review. The profile contains more full information about the church: Gospel-centeredness, history, governance, demographics, and ministry philosophy.
