Youth Pastor/Worship Leader or Youth Pastor Job Description

First Baptist Church (FBC) in Douglas, Wyoming, is a mid-sized church with 250 to 300 members in the congregation each Sunday morning who love the Lord and have a large and impactful outreach within this community and beyond. We are seeking a passionate, energetic Youth Pastor to Rescue, Transform, and Mature those in our 6th-12th grade ministry. Youth group attendance averages 40-50 students each week. Youth Sunday School currently averages 12 to 15 each week. The Youth Pastor will lead and organize weekly youth group meetings, Sunday School, Bible studies, semi-annual retreats, youth mission trips, and mentor students. If you have a heart for discipling the next generation, a talent for creative teaching, and a desire to build a vibrant community, we want to hear from you! If you are musically gifted and have led Worship before, or wish to lead worship, we would like you to assist with leading the FBC congregation in meaningful, Biblical worship and encourage the spiritual growth, enthusiasm, and commitment of other worship team members.
