Youth Director

• Youth Ministry:
o Overseeing the high school ministry,
which may include Friday / Saturdays as
well as Sunday mornings.
o Developing and leading a team of
volunteer Youth Leaders
o Finding curriculum for youth programs.
o Co-ordinating of youth programs.

• General Ministry:
o Caring for members of the congregation.
o Participating in serving ministries and
events, such as prayer ministry, mercy
ministry.

Suitable Candidate:

• Be fluent in English.
(Spoken Chinese would
be an advantage, but not
essential.)
• Have a pastoral heart for
people, being willing to
engage people and point
them towards Christ.
• Have a good grasp of
how the gospel shapes
all of life and ministry,
particularly aware of one’s
own need for Christ and
the gospel.
• Be able to show how all of
Scripture relates to Jesus
and the gospel.
• Have very good leadership
and administrative skills.
• Be self-motivated leader
who can take initiative.
• Be humble, teachable
and eager to learn, with a
desire to grow and mature
in one’s own calling and
character.
• Be able to relate to highschoolers
and help them
connect Jesus to the
challenges they face.
