Associate Pastor / Director of Worship & Ministry (Flexible Role)

Part-Time to Full-Time (Minimum 20 hours/week in Worship Leadership)
We are a growing church seeking the right person to join our staff team — someone called to
lead worship with excellence and to serve the church through their additional gifts and passions.
The core of this position is Worship & Music Leadership (approximately 20 hours/week),
including:
• Leading eclectic/blended worship that has elements of both traditional and contemporary
worship but ideally they blend in such a way that we cant tell which is which.
• Directing and developing a choir
• Leading a contemporary worship band
• Planning worship in collaboration with the pastor
• Raising up volunteers and musicians
Beyond worship leadership, we are intentionally flexible.
Depending on the candidate’s strengths, calling, and experience, the remaining hours could focus
on areas such as:
• Discipleship & spiritual formation
• Youth or young adult ministry
• Administration or executive leadership
• Pastoral care
• Outreach & mission
• Or another ministry area aligned with the candidate’s gifts

God is calling to serve among us.

We are seeking someone who:
• Has strong musical leadership skills in both traditional and contemporary contexts
• Loves the local church and its people
• Is a team player who collaborates well with pastoral leadership
• Has a heart for developing volunteers and nurturing spiritual growth
• Is open to shaping a role that fits both church needs and personal calling
Ordination is welcome but not required (depending on role focus).
Position Details
• Core responsibility: Worship & Music Leadership (20 hours/week minimum)
• Additional ministry responsibilities shaped around the candidate’s strengths
• Compensation commensurate with experience and hours
• Possibility of expanded hours over time
