As part of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church denomination, we are rooted in historic Christian faith, the truth of Scripture, and the grace of Jesus Christ. Primary Pastoral Duties and Responsibilities:
• Preach the Word weekly, with a commitment to gospel-centered preaching. (Worship is blended contemporary and traditional.)
• Lead, disciple, and equip church leaders.
• Models a strong heart for discipleship.
• Officiate weddings; administer the sacraments of baptism; conduct funerals; and regularly lead Holy Communion.
• In partnership with ruling elders and deacons, provide pastoral care our congregation through visitation of the sick, bereaved, homebound, and those in care facilities.
• Moderate the Session (Board of Elders), meet with Presbytery twice per year, and conduct the annual congregational meeting.
• Watch over the congregation with attentiveness to spiritual and practical needs, helping connect individuals to care and resources.
• Emphasize the seasons of Lent and Advent and lead Holy Week services.
• Support and help organize adult Sunday school.
• Provide spiritual oversight of all church ministries.

• A deep love for God and delight in His Word
• Spirit-filled, prayerful, and humble in leadership
• Honest and transparent in communication and relationships
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and grounded in a positive outlook

• Organizational awareness and the ability to manage multiple areas of ministry.
• Effective communication skills, both in preaching and in everyday interactions.
• Spiritually vibrant and growing in faith.
• Ability to disciple and mentor individuals of all ages.
• Patience and a steady, encouraging presence.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish would be beneficial but is not required.
