We’re praying for more than someone to oversee a ministry. We’re praying for another shepherd—a pastor who loves Jesus, loves His Word, loves people, and is eager to invest in the next generation.

About Community Chapel
Community Chapel is a joyful, thriving, non-denominational, Bible-believing church located in Sweet Home, Oregon. Our beautiful 67-acre campus is nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, and we average approximately 400 people in weekly worship. We are passionate about helping people discover the joy of a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in His grace through biblical teaching, authentic relationships, and lives of service. We strive to major on the essentials of the Christian faith and the clear teaching of Scripture while extending grace in areas where faithful,
Scripture-honoring believers may differ.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time Associate Pastor / Director of Student Ministries who loves Jesus, loves His Church, and is passionate about reaching and investing in the next generation for Christ. This pastor will lead our middle school and high school ministries while also serving as a member of the pastoral team through preaching, shepherding, leadership development, and congregational ministry.
This role is centered on student ministry, but it is intentionally broader than a traditional youth-pastor position.
We are prayerfully looking for someone whose character, people skills, communication gifts, and calling—along with
intentional mentoring in preaching and the broader responsibilities of church leadership—may, over time, demonstrate readiness for greater pastoral leadership. There is no promise or predetermined timetable for such a transition; rather, we want to create room for a gifted pastor to grow as God, the church, and the individual confirm
that direction.
