Associate Pastor

We are a very family friendly body of people who openly love Jesus and each other. Our church has an organic, comfortable atmosphere, with a Scripture centered mindset. Our services are fairly traditional, with a majority of hymns and verse by verse preaching.

We are looking for an Associate Pastor to assist our long time senior pastor through regular preaching, prayer, and attending to various other spiritual needs of the congregation. Primary roles would be overseeing and preaching at most Sunday evening services, some of the Wednesday evening prayer meetings/Bible studies, and filling in on Sunday mornings as needed. Additionally being involved with evangelism, missions, visitation, and encouraging members in their spiritual walk, or other areas as God has gifted.

The candidate should meet the Biblical qualifications to be an elder, and be in agreement with the doctrinal statement of our church. He should be skilled in teaching, and also be teachable. He must be God and Scripture focused, and eager to strengthen the church in this discipline. He should be comfortable with a more organic and less programmatic church culture.
